I have tried the European, Australian, and USA servers to check the speed and performance on multiple continents. You can expect a higher speed and a more stable connection with a subscription plan. Of course, there is a difference between using the free option and the subscription. TunnelBear’s speed and performance stay high, especially with a European server. Luckily, with TunnelBear, I haven’t noticed anything to be concerned about. However, note that it’s normal for a VPN to lose speed sometimes. When traveling abroad, you constantly need the internet, which makes high speeds a necessity.
